Laundry. . . The very word can make some cringe. It can sometimes make us feel overwhelmed with what appears to be an endless task for growing families. But like so many things when we look at the positive side of life’s challenges, it will change our attitude and approach.

Just as piles of laundry prove that there is life within our homes, our laundry areas can have life as well. We can either begrudge not having a large, luxurious laundry room or we can take a small space and make it workable and enjoyable. Adding a cabinet for storage, dowel rod for hanging items that need to air dry and paint a fun color, or a picture and light fixture can pep up an area that was once lifeless, all while keeping it contained, organized and adding value to your home.
